    Hotels and Accomodations

As “the undisputed leader in travel,” Merapi Pesona Jogja is proud to partner with many of the travel industry’s most reputable, leading suppliers including: airlines, cruise lines, hoteliers, destination management companies and ticketing, as well as the Jogjakarta’s most-sought-after, premier destinations.

Whether our valued clients are traveling for business or leisure, it is paramount that we consistently deliver the best possible experience, from our knowledgeable travel agent experts to every aspect of the journey itself. Thus, it is absolutely essential that our agents have peace-of-mind knowing that our supplier partners are as committed to delivering outstanding travel experiences as we are. That’s why we carefully cultivate and nurture mutually-beneficial relationships with accomodation suppliers that will deliver exceptional experiences, provide the most value, and actively work to resolve outstanding issues satisfactorily.

Throughout Merapi Pesona Jogja, we never take our existing relationships with suppliers lightly. In fact, because our various divisions’ agents and clients have such unique, individual needs, supplier relationships are maintained within each of our businesses. Yet overall, we take enormous pride in having forged long, fruitful and solid relations with our supplier partners. These relationships run deep – mutually-profitable to be sure, yet ultimately they’re designed to ensure that our clients’ needs, desires and expectations are not only met, but consistently exceeded. Our best clients are repeat customers.

We keep our group sizes low so you have the freedom to move around and get involved with your surroundings, as well as more personal attention from our local guides. This intimate size ensures that your group will not crowd your experience. You can expect up to 15 travelers on a trip but the average is 10. Check individual trip pages for maximum group sizes.

Tips are not included in the tour price and tipping is entirely at your discretion. Our Trip Details documentation includes suggested tipping amounts and these can be downloaded from each individual trip summary page.

We strongly recommend bringing a backpack or duffel bag, as suitcases can be cumbersome and difficult to store in buses, under seats, etc.. Keep in mind that you will normally have to carry your own luggage on and off buses and trains and up and down hotel staircases. Suitcases with wheels may not work well on dirt or cobblestone roads.
